Community Health Program Coordinator

About the Role Our client is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Community Health Program Coordinator to drive impactful health initiatives within the Paarl community. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the planning, implementation, and monitoring of community health programs. Develop and deliver health education materials and workshops to target communities. Facilitate outreach activities to connect individuals with essential health services. Build and maintain relationships with local clinics, hospitals, community leaders, and other health partners. Manage program logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and participant registration. Collect and analyze program data to assess impact and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and challenges. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols in all program activities. Stay informed about current public health issues and best practices relevant to the community. Serve as a key point of contact for community members seeking health information and support. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in community health, program coordination, or a similar role. Demonstrated understanding of public health principles and community-based health interventions. Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools and standard office software. Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks in a remote setting. Experience in health education and promotion is highly desirable. A genuine commitment to improving community health and well-being. Knowledge of the challenges and resources within the Paarl community is an asset.
