JOB DETAILS:-Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks.-Unit will accept 36h or 48 hrs.SHIFT: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15, Friday-SundayFloat Requirement: Floating is required. Travelers may float to other units at Novant Health Thomasville when needed. Travelers may also be floated to Novant Health Forsyth behavioral health unit if needed. Weekend Requirement: NonePATIENT DIAGNOSES: 18 years and older, patient with behavioral health diagnosis and primary reason for admission, most have multiple medical comorbidities. Dementia w/ Behavioral Disturbance accounts for about 60-70% of our patients. We also care for individuals with Alzheimer's, depression, anxiety, mania and psychosis (and all other mental illness diagnosis for older adults). SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We offer ECT and this is performed in the surgical suite not on the unit.
