Red Star Construction is a commercial concrete company seeking full-time Superintendents with knowledge in commercial and industrial concrete. Candidates must have experience in layout/ dimension control, solid understanding of concrete, crew management, good written and verbal communication abilities, ability to read and understand contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes, project schedules, daily reports, industry/ OSHA safety standards, and client relations.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of concrete scope including formwork, layout and controls, placing, consolidating and finishing concrete best practices.

Adherence to safety standards

Must be able to update and maintain schedules as required. Communicate regular schedule updates and impacts to the client as well as reporting to the office.

Communicating with customers and management in connection with field issues.

Managing the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.

Oversee and streamline field crew productivity, performance, and quality.

Develop and maintain all required field reporting.

Ability to work with and coordinate with customers and other subcontractors.

 

Qualifications:

Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years professional experience within the concrete construction industry. Candidate must possess proven written and verbal communication abilities, fulfill significant job badging and background check requirements such as E‐Verify. Being bilingual English & Spanish is ideal but not required. The ability to travel is also ideal but not required.
