Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at improving independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in alignment with practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
- Active state Occupational Therapy license or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
