We are currently hiring for a Per Diem RN to work at our Springfield and Lansdale, PA locations.The Registered Nurse (RN) will support the CCP Now program and CTA services by providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role focuses on the evaluation and treatment of patients with non-life-threatening cardiac symptoms, while assisting with diagnostic testing and ensuring a safe and efficient clinical experience.Responsibilities:Assist with and perform cardiac diagnostic testing, including:EKGsCardiac telemetry monitoringBlood work and advanced imaging as appropriatePerform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history, consent, and patient educationMonitor patients throughout testing and respond appropriately to any emergent situationsAdminister medications and IVs for diagnostic proceduresInterpret EKG rhythms and recognize arrhythmiasEvaluate and triage patients, including walk-ins requiring urgent attentionProvide clear patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up careCommunicate test results and next steps per provider directionDocument all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all timesAssist with clinical coordination, including triaging calls and responding to patient inquiriesProvide support across clinical areas and assist providers and staff as neededParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomesPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Must have a current RN license, ACLS, and CPR, BSN requiredCurrent, unrestricted PA Registered Nurse (RN) license.BLS and ACLS requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.Must have 2 years of experience as an RN in CardiologyMust have the ability to multitaskComputer knowledge is a mustExperience with an EMR system is a plusEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
