Senior Clinical Data Manager - Europe - Remote

About the Data Management Department Our Data Management team is an ever‑growing, collaborative group involved in clinical studies from crafting the study database to ensuring the pristine delivery of the final dataset. We meticulously ensure data accuracy and integrity, critical for regulatory submissions. Responsibilities Manage each assigned data management project and lead the corresponding teams. Represent WCT in all dealings with sponsors regarding data management aspects of assigned projects. Liaise with the Director of Data Management at regular intervals to discuss progress and outstanding issues. Take responsibility for staff training on all assigned projects, including direct training and supervision. Ensure that all data management operations are conducted in accordance with WCT SOPs; contribute to the ongoing revision and improvement of these SOPs. Create and review project‑specific documentation for assigned trials, such as the Data Management Plan and the Data Management File. Ensure adequate QC checks (including spot checks) and Database Quality Assessments on the clinical databases of assigned projects. Qualifications Computer literacy and numeracy with willingness to adapt to various computer systems. Excellent attention to detail and a questioning attitude toward data validity, with the ability to phrase data queries clearly and impartially. Ability to train new staff and monitor their performance. Education to degree level (preferably Life Sciences), Nursing qualification, or relevant industry experience.
