About the Role How you will contribute Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer. Interface with customers to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provide input on local conditions, identify needs, and receive direction on real‑time staffing increases or decreases. Enact contingency plans as needed; elevate and direct activities during system problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, raise issues to local and senior management, and participate in post‑mortem analysis of problems to provide input for future process improvements. Review ongoing performance results against targets. Take corrective measures with authorization, escalating as needed. Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and/or teams, enforcing company standards and acting as a role model. Other duties as assigned. Your Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred. Progressive experience in professional‑level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics industry. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints; write documents using original or innovative techniques or style; make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and customers. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle several abstract and concrete variables.
