Responsibilities Preparing, assembling and cooking items according to proper procedures Ensuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed Washing dishes as needed Taking guests orders and completing transactions Acting as a sales person ( suggestive selling) increasing guest check average. Collecting payments (cash, card, etc.), and issuing receipts and talking about guest survey Providing guests service, which includes greeting the guest and answering questions about menu.
