Job Description Schedule Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:30am to 4:00 pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Production Associate will assist with the operation of the production line(s) of individual snack food items. We are a company that deals with dehydrated fruit, produce, nuts, and other snack foods. Due to this nut dust is in the air and a possible inhalant. Packaging Operate Mixer Running the label machine Refilling labels Adjustments of rails Adjustments of head heights Label placement on tubs Label corrections Train new employees on GMP's, sanitation duties, mixing, production duties, and labeling Additional tasks as they are assigned Qualifications Successful completion of application process Must be able to pass drug screen Has good personal hygiene practices Must have reliable form of transportationMust be flexible / dependable to work on days scheduled Ability to follow directions and quickly transition Basic math skills and ability to adjust and read weight scales Able to work in fast paced work environment Able to work with a small team Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs cases often Must be able to stand for long lengths of time 8 hours The ability to stop production if they feel there is a safety hazard. Ability to safely work with and around nuts. This is a safety-sensitive position. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
