Aircraft Maintenance Training Team MemberJob Number 8347 Standard Job Description Provides a level of postsales support and service to customer sites and remote sites at a high-tech level that cannot be rendered by the basic level of field hardware and systems software service. Employee is usually introduced to the customer site when the nature of equipment service required is beyond the skill level possessed by the basic field/customer service engineer.You will be a part of the Aircraft Maintenance Training Team at MCAS Miramar, San Diego supporting F-35 Maintenance activities across the full spectrum of Field Operations at various F-35 operating locations both inside the US and internationally.What You Will Be Doing:This position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of F-35 Aircraft Maintenance, Joint Technical data, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Documentation, Action Request processing, Formal On-The-Job Task training/Certifier, and training development/design.The position also serves as the F-35 Training SME for the newly assigned aircraft maintenance crews and senior leadership.Individual may be required to train multiple trainees at a time on the ground handling, engine removal, and other component replacement required for the F-35 aircraft.This position will also support the certification and development of newly assigned instructors and newly developed course materials.This position will certify instructors to independently teach courses, as well as perform the duties of quality oversight and standardization in the review and modification of course materials.What's In It For You:From onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.Will require often and extended business travel (potentially with short notice) with the potential to support Foreign Partner locations.Must be available to work flexible schedule to cover nights and weekends as require.Physical Requirements: This position regularly requires to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry. Position may also require extended work hours. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements to perform assigned tasks / training.Basic Qualifications:* 10 years total aviation experience* Of total aviation experience, at least 6 years F-35 aircraft maintenance experience* 2 years Formal Instructor experience* Knowledgeable on DCMA 8210.1C/D* Experience in presenting to senior leadership* In depth working knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information Systems (ALIS)Desired Skills:* Strong Communication Skills* Leadership Experience* Conflict Resolution Skills* Knowledgeable on NAVAIR 4790* Knowledgeable on AFI 21-101* OSHA regulations* Held a 7 level, CDI/CDQ or equivalent certification* F-35 Engine Operation Certified* F-35 Ejection Seat Removal/Install Certified* F-35 Ejection Seat Build-up Certified* F-35 Canopy Removal/Install Certified* F-35 Borescope Inspection Certified* F-35 Gun System Removal/Install Certified* F-35 LO Restoration* F-35 AFS or Aero Instructor experience* Training Course Development Experience* Experience utilizing Microsoft Office ProductsPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00
