Delivery Truck Driver/ Truck Loader

TABER, the leading manufacturer of custom millwork, metalwork, and upholstery in Orange County, is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver/ Truck Loader to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be active and energetic, while assisting in the loading, unloading and delivery of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Locate and load all necessary millwork, metal, and upholstery items to be loaded on a truck
Wrap and secure finished products to avoid any damage during transportation
Read and interpret a set of shop drawings, sketches and handwritten notes
Read through delivery checklist or shipper to ensure all items loaded on truck
Transporting millwork, metal, and upholstery items over land to and from manufacturing plant to job sites throughout California
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
Inspecting Vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
Document and log work / rest periods

Salary: $20-$25/ hour
