Restoration Technician

Restoration TechnicianWe are looking for an experienced Restoration Technician to join our team! You will be making an impact each day by responding to customer needs for Water and Fire Restoration jobs. This includes the completion of drying, demolition, and other restoration activities. You are IICRC certified with meaningful previous experience in cleaning/restoration. You hold yourself to a high standard and care deeply about the quality of your work and its impact on customers and your team.Responsibilities:Perform production/restoration process per work order and chief crew instructionsInventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each projectMaintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipmentPrepare rooms/areas for work activitiesLeave the job site with a clean and orderly appearanceCommunicate openly with the crew chief and other techniciansQualifications:IICRC certificationExperience in cleaning/restorationExperience serving commercial propertiesValid driver's licenseHigh school diploma/GEDPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning products/chemicalsAbility to travel locally and out of state when necessaryThe IICRC is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a non-profit organization for the Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Industries. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with more than 49,000 active Certified Technicians and more than 6,500 Certified Firms around the world.The IICRC is managed by its Board of Directors, which is composed of 15 industry leaders elected by the IICRC's Shareholders. The Board of Directors' function is to represent the various interests of the applicants while leading the direction of the organization. The Board of Directors meets four times per year and is tasked with the responsibility of helping shape future policies of the organization and uphold the standards that help shape the industry.
