Third generation meat packing facility is seeking temp to hire employees.

Seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and hands-on mechanical ability. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting plant operations.

Food Grade Ind Maintenance Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)

• Perform general service and maintenance on equipment (e.g., greasing motors, checking and replacing belts)
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Use tablets and computers to complete job tasks, research problems, and report findings
• Complete general maintenance tasks throughout the plant after training
• Collaborate with team members on more complex repair and maintenance projects
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Food Grade Ind Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Good communication skills and a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to use basic technology (tablets/computers) for work tasks
• Basic mechanical aptitude (familiarity with tools and their functions)
• Some experience in maintenance, construction, or a technical field preferred
• Bonus Skills (Not Required)
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems
• TIG welding experience (especially stainless steel)
• Diesel mechanic experience
• Controls or low-voltage electrical experience
