Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Care Unit

Join a dynamic pulmonary care unit as a Registered Nurse, providing high-acuity respiratory care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Include Delivering comprehensive nursing care for patients with conditions like COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, influenza, and respiratory failure. Performing focused respiratory assessments and early intervention for escalating oxygen and ventilatory needs. Managing specialized skills such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, CPAP/BIPAP therapy, chest tube care, and administration of blood products and IV drips. Key Skills Developed Advanced respiratory assessment and management Tracheostomy and ventilated patient care Respiratory device management including CPAP/BIPAP and high-flow oxygen Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of acute nursing experience. Current RN license and BLS certification.
