Tax and Accounting Associate

TAX AND ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE- Experienced DIRECT HIRE: FULL TIME LOCATION: ONSITE IN DUBUQUE SALARY: $65K-$75K/YEARRESPONSIBILITIES: Complete various general ledger activities including bank and account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and sales tax reporting Payroll preparation and payroll tax reporting Prepare federal and state business and individual income tax returns Prepare interim financial statements Maintain client depreciation schedules Assist clients with accounting questions Maintain client relationships Prepare tax plans and year-end financial statements Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients Remain up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law Generate business growth with existing and new clients Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration Work with clients and firm members to ensure timely completion of projects REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting The position is full-time with additional hours required during tax season Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Intuit QuickBooks Excellent communication skills Keen attention to detail Ability to learn new software programs Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work effectively on a team Please email resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Sedona Staffing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
