About the Position

Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with 30-minute lunch or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 30-minute lunch Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience in Client Fetal Medicine, self-starter, team player Description: We are seeking an experienced Sonographer specializing in ultrasound. The position involves working in a fast-paced, high-risk environment. You will be responsible for performing various imaging studies, including Detailed Anatomy, BPP, Growth, Dopplers, and Twin studies. The department has multiple machines available across various sites. Floating to cover other areas may be required. An average of 8 to 10 studies is performed per day. Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems is essential; the software used is ViewPoint, which interacts with EPIC. Department-specific equipment includes GE and Phillips ultrasound machines. There are no weekend or holiday requirements for this position. No IV starts are necessary for this role. Scrubs of any color may be worn, but are not provided.
