Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Sign-On Bonus Up to $15,000. Job Description Under the direction of the Interventional Radiology Clinical Coordinator, this individual must operate all routine radiographic and interventional radiology equipment safely and proficiently. The person must have graduated from an approved school of Radiologic Technology and be registered, or registry eligible, with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The incumbent must produce high-quality radiographs and assist the radiologist with all types of invasive and non-invasive procedures daily. They must assist as a scrub tech during invasive procedures, communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and hospital personnel, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and support day-to-day operations as needed. This position requires 24/7 mandatory on-call duty with a return time of 30 minutes or less to the hospital. Qualifications Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registered, or registry eligible, with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ARRT certification, if not held at the time of hire, required within one year from the date of hire. Advanced certification in Interventional Radiology preferred. Associate’s Degree preferred or vocational/technical training. Experience: 1-3 years preferred. License & Certifications ARRT within one year of hire. BLS. Other Requirements 24/7 mandatory on-call duty with return time of 30 minutes or less. Assist as a scrub tech during invasive procedures.
