Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence. Currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑exempted interstate DOT medical card required. 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years. 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents. Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. English language proficiency required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)). Work the required schedule, at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. Position regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety for self and others is required. Physical Requirements Must be able to see and hear. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Must touch, handle, and feel objects with hands and arms. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
