Title
Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Schedule
Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts
Weekend coverage required

Assignment Details
Patient ratio: 1:2
Daily census: 1

Requirements
- RN with neonatal/NICU experience; Level II NICU experience preferred
- 2 years' experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP or NRP Advanced

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates with conditions such as prematurity, RDS, and hypoglycemia.
- Manage ventilation support and other respiratory therapies, including CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula.
- Administer phototherapy and manage feeding support through various methods (breast, bottle, gavage).
- Conduct sepsis workups, including administering antibiotics/antivirals and blood products as needed.
- Perform and manage central line care and IV maintenance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support neonatal health and monitor progress.

Compliance / Notes
- 50-mile radius rule: No local candidates
- State or compact nursing license must be in hand at the time of submittal
- Onboarding: Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Orientation/modules completed onsite; modules non-billable
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
