Regional Robot Service Lead

Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM (with flexibility while traveling) 1 year contract HireArt is helping our client hire a Regional Robot Service Manager to oversee and coordinate robot service operations across multiple sites in and around New Jersey. In this role, you’ll combine hands–on electromechanical expertise with people leadership and operational ownership to ensure consistent service quality, safety, and uptime across the region. The ideal candidate is a proactive, field‑oriented leader who enjoys balancing technical problem‑solving with team development and operational execution. As a Regional Robot Service Manager, you’ll: Direct day-to-day robot service operations across multiple regional sites, fostering a highly organized, positive work environment where technicians enjoy their jobs and take pride in their work. Champion metrics, ensuring consistent service quality, attention to detail, safety compliance, and operational uptime. Act as the regional expert in technical issues and provide remote technical assistance and on‑site troubleshooting for complex mechanical, electromechanical, and network issues. Manage, train, and support service technicians and site leads. Draw on your leadership background to set clear expectations and standards. Apply deep knowledge of advanced networks and HV systems to robotics troubleshooting and maintenance. Coordinate parts inventory, tooling, and equipment readiness, ensuring all sites are running as a top‑tier shop. Travel frequently between sites to provide on‑site leadership, audits, and operational support. Work with central operations, engineering, and safety teams to implement process improvements and track key performance metrics regarding service health and risks. Requirements 5+ years of experience in mechanical service environments (automotive, EV/HEV, fleet maintenance, industrial equipment), with a strong preference for candidates with 5+ years in automotive service, such as a previous shop foreman, master technician, or service manager 3+ years of team management experience with multi‑site oversight is strongly preferred 5+ years of deep diagnostic experience, specifically working with FlexRay, CAN, multiplex systems, and high voltage (HV) architectures A proven track record of building well‑organized, positive team environments that drive employee retention and pride in workmanship Comfortable working in dynamic, field‑based environments with the willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, operations, and field technician teams Flexible Spending Account for healthcare‑related costs HireArt covers all costs for short and long‑term disability and life insurance 401k package Commitment This is a full‑time, 1‑year contract position (with the possibility of extension) staffed via HireArt.
