We collaborate across specialties to ensure prevention, diagnosis, and treatment are seamless, compassionate, and personalized.Team members gain experience in advanced comprehensive care while working closely with highly skilled providers who are committed to mentorship and clinical excellence.Mission for PositionTo deliver high-quality, personalized specialty care while fostering an efficient, supportive, and collaborative clinic environment that promotes growth and learning.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide empathetic, high-quality patient care within our Specialty clinic settingSupport our Specialty Providers with collaboration of care during patient visitsPrepare and assist clinic visit preparationManage patient flow, exam room preparation, and supply organizationHandle in-basket items, patient calls, patient form completion, report workProvide thorough patient education and post-care instructions as guided by your providerCollaborate closely with both internal and external providers and the broader family medicine and specialty care teamsPosition TypeThis position is available as a full- or part-time position working day shift hours. This position includes scheduled hours within our Staples and Pillager location.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant programMust have and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certificationBLS Healthcare Provider certificationIdeal CandidatePrior clinic experience and familiarity with Family Medicine careExperience with EPIC EHR preferredMotivated to grow professionallyThrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environmentDemonstrates strong communication, organization, and teamwork skillsEnjoys learning new procedures and expanding clinical expertisePassionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered careBenefitsLakewood Health System is growing and looking for great people to join our mission of providing personalized, quality healthcare for a lifetime.
