Staff GenAI Engineer - AMS Design and Optimization

You will partner closely with design, layout, CAD, and product teams to reduce manual effort, improve quality, and accelerate time-to-tapeout across memory products.Responsibilities:Embed AI and automation into circuit design, layout, and verification workflowsApply data-driven methods to modeling, validation, and tape-out iteration reductionEnable AI-assisted optimization of floorplanning, placement, routing, and simulationLeverage historical design and silicon data to drive predictive insightsCollaborate across design, CAD, and manufacturing teams to scale AI-enabled methodsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience5 to 7 years Experience with circuit design, layout, verification, or CAD flowsStrong coding skills with the ability to develop and maintain production-quality software in Python or similar languagesExperience applying data analysis, machine learning, or automation to engineering workflowsPreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldExperience applying AI or ML to physical design, simulation, or silicon dataKnowledge of memory circuit design and full-chip integrationExperience collaborating across design, process integration, test, or product engineeringThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$170,000.00 - $290,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
