We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)Compensation: $17.75 per hourSummary: The Beverage Cart Attendant is integral to the guest experience and provides food and beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property.Requirements:1-2 years of bartending experienceMust possess a valid driver's licenseMust be of legal age to serve liquor according to state lawWorking knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes preferredAbility to operate computerized/electronic cash register systemAbility to use equipment and tools properly and safelyKnowledge of and ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart using proper golf etiquetteMust have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the publicMust have strong skills in Customer ServiceMust be dependableResponsibilities:Maintain a professional appearance at all timesDrive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guestsMaintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other suppliesStock beverage carts to par levels each day of useAssures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followedOperate Micros, handle cash, room charges, guest member charges and credit card charges according to procedureLearn the names of regulars and personally recognize themMonitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are availablePrepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinksPerforms clean-up and closing duties as assignedCommunicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employeesEnsure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional mannerAssist in upkeep of the golf course as neededAssist in food preparation and tend bar as neededPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerBenefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About Troon: Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
