Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

Start Date: 08-31-2026

End Date: 11-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active state Physical Therapist license or the ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical expertise in physical therapy assessment and treatment
• Patient evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Ability to supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs effectively
