The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates should have diverse experience in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to laparoscopic surgeries, thoracic procedures, orthopedic and neurosurgery. Various specialized skills are expected, including handling of surgical instruments and knowledge of infection control protocols. Effective communication skills and the ability to respond to emergencies are crucial. The work requires a commitment to patient safety and adherence to universal protocols, including time-out procedures. Flexibility regarding work schedules and the ability to work on-call as required are essential for this position.
