Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Commissioning Agent for our client. This job involves developing and coordinating functional testing of multi-stack equipment and multi-redundant system configurations within a trade. You will review criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Write and administer Commissioning Plans, and Systems Manuals consistent with company format
• Participate in / Ensure / Oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others
• Assist senior commissioning engineer or project manager in the on-going determination of project scheduling requirements, staffing requirements, and project budgets
• Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or required years of experience, including commissioning of large distribution systems for industrial, datacenter, pharmaceutical processes, or laboratory type facilities.
• A minimum of 7 years field experience in hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of large Electrical or Mechanical systems
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the MEP field
• Possesses basic understanding of proper system selection
• Exhibits basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principals to building designs
• Exhibits thorough understanding of applicable codes
• Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO-Cx procedures and protocols, a plus
• Local travel is required but if you work weekends you can flex take off 2 days during the next week
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
