Registered Behavioral TechnicianThe Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Mary Free Bed. This individual implements specific curriculum designed to work toward each child's Treatment Plan, goals, and individual needs, monitors individual and group programs. This individual completes, priorities and organizes technical aspects of patient care as delegated and supervised by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBT's implement line therapy, typically in a 1:1 ratio, with children diagnosed with autism.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates excellent customer service. Greets & services patients and family in a courteous, professional manner. Promote patient/family satisfaction where possible; participates in departmental efforts to monitor and report customer service.Essential Job QualificationsAssociates degree or equivalent credits or 3 years of experience working with children requiredGraduate with Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Psychology, special education, education, speech, occupational, medicine; or related field.Registered Behavioral Therapist training course completion required prior to hire date and exam to be successfully completed within 3 months of completion of Initial Competency Assessment.Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures and business operations and how they interrelate to other departments in the organization.Minimal typing skills of 40 words/ minute.
