This is a potential to hire position for 1st/3rd shift, apply today!Line Leader Responsibilities:Accountability to meet performance objectivesDirect/coach/mentor assigned assembly team to assist in meeting performance metricsResponsible for safety, quality, service (delivery), and costDevelop, maintain, and improve pre and postproduction checklists detailing steps to startup, run, and shutdown of lineVisual confirmation of items by position at line start upSupervise and train pump/cap table team to assist in completing the line tasksSetup, maintain, and troubleshoot filler and monitor consumables/sparesPerform weight checks in production per QC paperwork. Note trends in variation and take corrective and preventative actionsClean and sanitize filler, setup (changeover), and start productionMaintain the master downtime for the team5S work area (end of shift and end of week deep cleaning.)Update setup binder at completion of SFOPerform PM on filler area equipment and conveyorsShutdown equipment at end of shiftCross train with Palletizers to cover absences and promote SME's, Subject Matter ExpertsRequirements for Line Leader:High school diploma or equivalent experienceProficient in basic mathHelpful to have some Assembly experience and/or leadership experienceWalk, stand, sit, reach, use of hands and fingers, etc. for entire shiftLift or exert force between 10-50lb as neededUse of hand tools, scales, label machines, fillers, and other equipment as neededQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
