Facilities Manager

Facilities Manager - Electrical Equipment Services - Fort Worth, TX CSG is recruiting on behalf of an electrical equipment services business for a Facilities Manager to take responsibility for its headquarters and expanding network of locations across the US. This is a newly created position and represents an opportunity to build and take ownership of the facilities function within a growing organisation. The Role The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's facilities while also leading new site, renovation, relocation, and expansion projects. Responsibilities will include: Overall responsibility for facilities across the company's headquarters and satellite locations Management of building maintenance, repairs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and other facility services Selection, management, and performance oversight of external vendors and contractors Management of service agreements, maintenance contracts, and facility-related suppliers Leadership of new facility openings, relocations, buildouts, and renovation projects Coordination of general contractors, subcontractors, and specialist vendors Management of project budgets, timelines, and facility-related capital expenditure Oversight of facility moves, site preparation, and operational readiness Regular travel to satellite locations to ensure facilities are operating effectively Development of processes and standards as the company's facility network continues to grow Hands-on involvement in resolving day-to-day facility issues when required The successful individual will need to be comfortable working within a growing and entrepreneurial business where priorities can change quickly and where people are expected to take ownership of problems and get them resolved. Candidate Profile The client is looking for an experienced facilities professional who combines strong vendor and contractor management experience with the ability to lead facility projects from planning through completion. Experience within electrical equipment, industrial services, equipment rental, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, or another multi-site industrial environment would be particularly relevant, although the company is open to candidates from other sectors with the right facilities and project experience. The successful candidate should offer: Previous facilities management experience within a commercial or industrial environment Experience managing multiple facilities or locations Strong vendor and contractor management experience Experience leading facility buildouts, renovations, relocations, or new site openings Experience managing facility budgets and capital projects The ability to manage contractors, projects, timelines, and competing priorities simultaneously A practical and hands-on approach to problem solving The flexibility to work within a growing business where responsibilities may extend beyond a traditional facilities job description Willingness to travel approximately 25% to support other company locations This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation at a point where its facilities infrastructure is becoming increasingly important, with genuine scope to shape the function, lead future expansion projects, and take ownership of the company's growing network of locations.
