Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use history along with any co-occurring mental health issues. \n
- Develop tailored treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying psychological factors, ensuring each client receives personalized support. \n
- Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that encourage client participation and engagement. \n
- Collaborate with various team members—including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists—to deliver comprehensive and integrated care. \n
- Educate and involve clients' families in the recovery process, providing them with tools and resources that support overall treatment goals. \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational standards. \n
The primary focus of this role is to support individuals battling substance use disorders and related mental health issues. Clients may range from those in early recovery to others who are re-engaging in treatment after relapse. As a licensed counselor, you will play a crucial role in rebuilding lives, inspiring hope, and fostering resilience through individual and group therapies.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must possess a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Demonstrated understanding of addiction counseling, with knowledge of current evidence-based practices relevant to substance abuse treatment. \n
