About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: Must be certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA). Description: Travelers will be expected to work 5-8 hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:30. Weekends and holidays may be required as needed by the unit. Travelers may be required to be on call as needed by the unit. Certification is mandatory for this position. Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays. If the contract covers only 2 of these holidays, travelers will be expected to work 1 of those holidays. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical fits within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The manager will conduct interviews. Experience in caring for COVID patients may be required. This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. Travelers should notify prior to submission. Local candidates may be offered at a lower rate. Travelers are required to have EPIC experience. Minimum requested time off is 7 days. Weekends may be required as needed. On-call requirements may apply. Holidays may be required as needed. Floating may be necessary as needed.
