Ferguson is currently seeking 2nd Shift Warehouse Associates for our Fort Payne AL distribution center. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse shipping or receiving experience who take pride in safe accurate and dependable work.

Schedule

2nd Shift Schedule: MondayFriday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
• Prior warehouse distribution shipping or receiving experience preferred
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a warehouse environment including lifting up to 50 lbs standing/walking for extended periods and performing repetitive movements (bending twisting reaching)
• Experience with or readiness to learn warehouse technology such as RF scanners
• Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick sort stage store and transport product to assigned locations
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners and/or labor management systems
• Build wrap label and organize pallets containers and materials to maintain inventory integrity
• Maintain product accuracy quality and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures for assigned task areas
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a teamoriented work environment
• Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace participating in ongoing housekeeping efforts
• Adhere to all safety requirements including proper use of PPE when required
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management
• Comply with all company policies procedures and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs
