3D Animator / Character Animator

Apply your character-animation and anatomy expertise to detailed hand-landmark annotation that helps improve next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on producing precise, consistent annotations across image and video data. Prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities
- Annotate hand and finger landmarks using MediaPipe-style hand topology while following strict protocols and tolerance thresholds.
- Identify and label anatomical points including the wrist, MCP, PIP, DIP, fingertips, and thumb-specific CMC, MCP, IP, and thumb-tip joints.
- Infer and accurately annotate joints and landmarks that are partially occluded or visually difficult to identify.
- Interpret varied hand poses, orientations, viewpoints, and interactions with objects to maintain consistency across image and video data.
- Review visual feedback, identify deviations from requirements, and make targeted corrections to sustain annotation quality at scale.
- Strong knowledge of hand anatomy and joint structure.
- Experience or demonstrated capability in annotation, visual reasoning, image and video analysis, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with MediaPipe-style hand topology.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow defined guidelines and protocols precisely.
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
- $15 to $80 per hour.
