Job Description

I have a client in the Charlottesville, VA area seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support industrial engineering projects for manufacturing and processing facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of field work, mechanical design, and project engineering .

The ideal candidate will have experience designing mechanical equipment and systems for industrial environments/Project s and be comfortable working directly with clients to develop practical engineering solutions.

This is a Temp to possible Permanent position that is required to be fully on site.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical design, manufacturing, or consulting engineering environments
Design and engineer mechanical systems, equipment, piping, skids, supports, and other industrial mechanical components
Develop detailed mechanical drawings and fabrication packages usingAutoCAD
Read, interpret, and developP&IDs, equipment layouts, and mechanical drawings.
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and project schedules.
