MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist provides high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services in a full-time position near Wichita, KS. The role requires technical expertise, patient care, and adherence to safety protocols, supporting accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
2. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
3. Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and monitoring during scans
4. Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality
5. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostics
6. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
7. Educate patients on procedures and address any concerns or questions
8. Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT certification in Radiography required
• Active Kansas state licensure (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred or required within a specified timeframe
