R and R Breakfast Spot is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for welcoming guests, managing the seating process, and creating a positive first impression while helping ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, ensuring high quality and presentation.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.

Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste.

Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Adapt to changing menus and special requests from customers.

Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.

Weekend availability required

Flexibility to work holidays

Passion for breakfast foods and culinary creativity.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.

Culinary degree is a plus.

Education and Experience:

1 year of line cook experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing
