Graduate Assistant – Translation & Interpreting Programs Title: Graduate Assistant (Graduate Level) Location: College of Liberal Arts / Writing and Language Studies, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Full-Time Equivalent: 0.25 Scope of Job The Graduate Assistant in the Translation & Interpreting Programs will assist faculty members in the Program. Duties will vary depending on the project and assigned responsibilities, and may include grading, proctoring, clerical assistance, and other tasks that support faculty in instructional and administrative efforts. Commuting between campuses may be necessary. Minimum Qualifications Admission to a graduate degree program. Good academic standing. Registered full-time for the respective semester: nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall or spring semester, three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session, or the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill remaining degree requirements. Discipline Specific Required Qualifications BA in Spanish/English Translation and Interpreting or a closely related field.
