Nurse Practitioner | Other Location: Chambersburg, PA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Electrophysiology APP • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Chambersburg, PA • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible) • Call Schedule: No Call PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults ages 18–100 • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 18 patients per day • Case Mix: Interventional Cardiology & Electrophysiology patients FACILITY INFORMATION • Hospital Bed Size: 270 beds • EMR System: Epic • Department Description: Interventional Cardiology / Electrophysiology • Support Staff Available: One assigned clinical support team • Practice Setting: Hospital, Clinic/Private Practice, Academic/Training PROCEDURES & CLINICAL EXPOSURE Interventional Cardiology: Right & Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC) PCI Balloon Angioplasty Balloon Pump Electrophysiology: Pacemaker Implant ICD Implant (Traditional and Sub-Q) Loop Recorder Implant/Explant Ablations: AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER APP will not perform procedures independently but may manage patients pre/post-operatively PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (clean file required) • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active PA License and DEA required • Board: NP or PA Certification required • DEA: Required • Certifications: ACLS & BLS required • Experience: Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, or Electrophysiology experience preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide Electrophysiology and Cardiology APP coverage • Evaluate and manage cardiology patients in clinic and hospital settings • Provide pre/post-procedure patient management • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epicaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
