WageStarting at $22.00/hourDepartmentHospitalityReports toAssistant General ManagerTerms of EmploymentFull Time or Part TimeOverall ResponsibilitiesOrganize and execute California Chicken Café's wide variety of catering options to ensure excellence in our most powerful marketing tool.Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesMaintain a positive and friendly work environment while adhering and applying the company’s core valuesResponsible for staging, reviewing and handing off catering orders to drivers/guestAssist in coordinating deliveries using the delivery dispatching platformPlanning, reviewing, and coordinating next day catering ordersTaking catering orders and inquiries via phone or walk upDelivery catering orders if needed using company and/or personal vehicleFollowing up with catering guests dailyDeliver exceptional hospitality to our guestsTake guest orders and handle payments using the POS systemDirect, greet and assist guests in the Drive-Up Service as well as deliver food to guests’ vehiclesGreet guests with moments of humanity upon arrivalMaintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurantStrong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, and work environmentRead and adhere to all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderMust attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferredSpeak, read, and write English fluentlyPassionate about food and hospitalityFriendly, upbeat, and cooperativeMust pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with CA state law requirementsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical RequirementsPerform duties that require standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, twisting, climbing, lifting/carrying (up to 25 lbs. individually), constant gripping/grasping, and moving throughout the restaurant for 4-10 hours per shift, up to 6 shifts per weekWork ConditionsHours will vary in accordance with business necessity, including early morning, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays.Exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, steam, and smoke.Works with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment typical of a restaurant kitchenBenefitsFree meal during the working shift50% discount on takeout and cateringCompetitive wages - Earn more when you learn moreWage structure includes incremental pay increases at key employment milestonesLeadership opportunities – We value promoting from within the teamFlexible scheduleReferral programMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance available for eligible employees401k with company match for eligible employees #J-18808-Ljbffr
