PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Horsham PA 19044 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $65.75 or 67.50/hr – based on shift
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, with alternating weekends
- 1 st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 2 nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for safely dispensing medications, supporting medication management and patient counseling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
- Monitor medication compliance and identify potential over-usage patterns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
- Counsel patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Provide medication consultations and answer patient questions.
- Provide patient services such as blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.
- Compound medications for external or internal use and prepare sterile solutions according to established procedures.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy staff.
- Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
- Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Ensure pharmacy activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and established procedures.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS :
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Current state pharmacist license required.
- Availability for the Monday–Friday schedule and alternating weekends.
