About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Alternating Day and Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of trauma OR and scrub experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS required, CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Two years of trauma OR experience and scrub experience - BLS certification - CNOR certification preferred Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The nurse will work alternating shifts of 07:00 - 17:30 and 17:00 - 07:30. Weekends are required, with a minimum of one weekend per month. Floating to other areas may be required based on skill set in perioperative care. Mandatory participation in scheduled holidays is expected. The patient ratio is 1:1. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in trauma and scrub roles. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Trauma Level II experience is also necessary, while Level I experience is preferred. Travel experience is a plus. Skills in various surgical procedures and trauma care are essential. The pediatric and geriatric patient populations will be included. Daily census involves a 1:1 patient ratio. Candidates should be comfortable floating within scope without restrictions.
