Nanny Needed for One Toddler, Flexible Start on July 13th

Job Summary We are seeking a warm and reliable nanny to care for one or more children ranging from infants to 8‑year‑olds. The position is flexible but primarily involves weekday daytime care, with occasional after‑school and weekend obligations. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable driving children to school, activities, and appointments. The role also includes maintaining a safe and engaging environment for the children. Responsibilities Supervise playtime and ensure child safety Assist with feeding, diaper changes, and naptime for infants and toddlers Drive children to school, preschool, swim team, tennis, tutoring, and other approved outings Provide homework and school‑related assistance for older children Pickup and drop‑off duties, including coordination with parents Prepare snacks and meals as needed and maintain a tidy, clean space Engage children in age‑appropriate activities, crafts, games, and outdoor play Communicate regularly with parents about the children’s progress and any concerns Attend to pet care as required and ensure a pet‑friendly environment Follow any special instructions from parents regarding medical or dietary needs Requirements Valid driver’s license and reliable car for drop‑offs and pickups Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school‑age children First‑Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain it within a specified timeframe) Excellent communication skills and a friendly, proactive attitude Comfortable working with pets (including pet care responsibilities) Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required Ability to handle flexible schedules, including occasional evenings and weekend work Background check and reference verification as part of the hiring process Schedule & Compensation The work week typically involves 15–20 hours, primarily during weekday afternoons and early evenings.
