Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florida, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts (12N)
• 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract
• Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Mandatory float within the Women's service line; optional float to other areas of the house as a sitter or resource nurse

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN experience
• Must be able to pass an Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course proctored by the unit prior to starting — candidates who do not pass are ineligible to begin and may not retest for 6 months
• COVID-19 vaccination required (two doses) or an approved declination on file

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
