Part Time Unarmed Security Officer

Midwest Security Forces is looking for experienced applicants to fill immediate part-time unarmed security officer positions in Valparaiso, IN. General security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Secures premises and establishing a friendly presence at the site
• He/she must be customer service oriented
• The successful candidate will pay close attention to detail
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have good communication skills
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• The ability to work within a team environment
• Must consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance and hygiene

Qualifications:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law.
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Security Officer experience a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving history
• Must have reliable means of transportation
• Must be able to pass drug screening
• Must be able to pass background check

We started with about 30 employees and have grown the company to over 160 employees working in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.
