Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:

Provides specialized critical care nursing for ICU patients, delivering expert clinical care while overseeing assigned staff. Acts as a key member of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments and treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions regularly to identify changes and prioritize care needs.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  
  
• 
  Supervise and coordinate activities of ICU nursing staff to maintain high-quality care.
  
  
• 
  Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  
  
• 
  Ensure accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practicing state.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least two years of recent ICU experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS certification from an approved vendor.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
  
  
• 
  Have strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
  
  
• 
  Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
