Stella-Jones is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Silver Springs, NV.

In this role, you will be the central hub of our yard and logistics operationsoverseeing the accurate, safe, and timely movement of inbound and outbound freight by truck and rail. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments, verify documentation against physical counts, and ensure accurate receiving records.
• Coordinate, schedule, and order trucks and rail cars for outgoing shipments. Prepare all necessary shipping manifests and paperwork.
• Ensure all customer-specific shipping requirements are fulfilled. Maintain outbound photo logs and documentation to verify order correctness.
• Monitor rail car movement and document/track demurrage reasons to optimize logistics efficiency.
• Consolidate paperwork from the yard, promptly enter data into internal systems, and distribute records to the appropriate personnel.
• Actively participate in and support the facility's safety culture, following all plant protocols and procedures.
• Perform other related logistics and administrative duties as needed to support plant operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• 13+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, yard management, or warehouse operations (experience with rail shipments/demurrage is a strong plus).
• Proven track record of high accuracy in inventory counts, shipping paperwork, and data entry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with drivers, yard crews, carriers, and office staff.
• Comfortable utilizing inventory/shipping management software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and digital logs.
• Commitment to working safely in an active manufacturing and yard environment.
