Job Description Details: Infectious Disease position: Physicians must be BC/BE in ID Visa accepted: Yes (H1) Practice type: Community Health Center Business type: Nonprofit Position: Full time EMR: Yes Setting: Outpatient Location: Clinic Telephone coverage: None Schedule: Mon– Fri Each location has Vision, Dental, Psychiatry, OBGYN, Endo, Addiction and ID on site. Join an established group of 5 other ID physicians and midlevels looking to add an additional ID physician to their team. Provides patients with infectious disease specialty care services in addition to general primary care Development/updating of clinical guidelines for HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, PrEP, nPEP and other infectious disease Managing and treating common health problems, including infections, as well as chronic, and complex illnesses and disorders, with a focus on infectious diseases; Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, etc. to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Collecting, recording, analyzing, and maintaining patient information, including med histories, reports, and examination results; Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients; Monitoring patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluating treatments as necessary; Performs other duties as assigned.
