Quality Assurance Associate

Our client, a leading Fortune 500 food distribution company, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Associate for a contract position at their Northwood, OH facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong QA background, reliability, and flexibility to support production operations in a cold warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform multiple quality analyses on raw materials, warehouse products, work-in-progress items, and finished goods
• Utilize iPad, computer, and scan guns to record and track quality assurance data
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in documentation
• Support production schedules by remaining flexible and available until tasks are completed
• Work in a cold storage environment; steel toe boots required

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience
• Punctual and dependable attendance record
• Flexibility to stay as needed based on production requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
• Ability to operate an iPad, computer, and scan guns

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Quality Assurance experience within the food industry

About the Role:

This is a contract position with an estimated duration based on business needs, totaling approximately 840 hours. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, including two paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Initial training will follow a 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule before transitioning to standard hours. Overtime of up to 10 hours per week may be required. This role is based on-site in Northwood, OH, with no travel required. Interviews will be conducted in person. Steel toe boots are required due to the cold working environment. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
