Associate Veterinarian
The VET Recruiter
Associate Veterinarian central Florida coast. Our Client is a laid back and family like practice located in a relaxed, beach town with reasonable cost of living. This is a great opportunity to step into a well-run practice with a strong manager and friendly staff and make it their own. Ideal hire will be driven to grow the practice and have the confidence to interact with. Needs to be friendly and take a real interest in the clients and their pets.
- Candidate should be innovative and progressive, and supportive of initiatives to grow the practice such as Compliance Campaigns.
- Typical day will include patient visits, surgery, follow-up calls, proper record keeping and communication with practice manager.
- Should they be able to provide services to expand the offering at partner clinics they may be scheduled to work at another practice occasionally.
- The candidate will report to CEO while he will have 2-4 technicians reporting to him.
Qualifications:
Licensed DVM with current active license to practice medicine. Areas of specialty are a plus (orthopedic surgery, feline medicine, alternative medicine, dermatology, ultrasound, etc.)
Compensation & Other benefits:
Base salary + Bonus.
Paid vacation and sick time. Paid licenses and dues.
Occasional travel may be required for short distances.
