We currently have an opening for an Associate Pastor. River Church is overseen by a lay Ministry Council. The senior pastor and associate pastor serve as paid staff members. The Ministry Council oversees all activities, finances, and teachings of the church. The purpose of this position is to build and maintain a healthy youth group and oversee the children’s ministry. The applicant must have a strong desire to work with children, youth, and young adultsto foster growth. This position is full-time. It involves some work activities to be accomplished during evening hours and on weekends. It is expected that the Associate pastor will be at the church office at least 25 hours a week, conducting activities related to the church and respective position.
